Tips & Info

We suggest that you do not directly add columns to this layout.  Instead, delete the template content.  Next go to Table > Insert > Table to add your own table in the main body area.  You may reformat this new table by adding rows and columns as needed.

Thank You or Confirmation Letter

Sample Thank You or Confirmation Letter:

TIP: Double-click a bracketed [ ] area to modify the Field_Name to work with your forms...

Dear Username,

Thank you for sending us your MessageType about our Subject. If you have asked us to contact you, we will be using the following information:

E-mail: UserEmail
Telephone: UserTel
FAX: UserFAX

If any of this information is incorrect, please go back to the "Tell Us What You Think!" form (or whatever name of the form is)  and change it. We thank you for taking the time to help us be a better company.

Sincerely,

Manager, Customer Services

You may return to the form by using the Back button in your browser.
Revised: January 20, 2005.

Important Tip: The "thank you page" is a small courtesy you extend to your viewers.  You can thank them for visiting, for taking the time to fill out a form, etc.  (You can set this letter up with field merge files that personalize the letter for your customer - see the example below)

One important thing you will want to do is to remove the thankyou.htm page from the navigation bars.  This page will only be seen by certain viewers, i.e. those who submit one of your forms so it is not necessary to have it linked to the rest of your pages.

To remove this page (and any others) from the navigation structure, click here to see the info in the Read Me page...

(Warning:  If you delete the page from the web, it will be gone.  There is no "are you sure you want to delete this page" message!)
